Foiled! — not just a campfire cookbook

Meals cooked in foil packets might seem like a no-brainer, but if you stop to think about it, how many have you really ever made? Or, how many branched out beyond chicken or fish and veggies?

For me, not many.

foiled2That’s where Foiled!: Easy, Tasty Tin Foil Meals by Jesseca Hallows comes in. It’s billed as a campfire cookbook, but you can make any of these meals in your oven, too. Actually, I’d highly encourage it.

Of course there are the staples, like the fish and veggies I mentioned above, but recipes also include breakfast burritos, chicken parmesan and cinnamon sugar bananas.

Just like the title promises, each dish is quick and easy. In fact, many recipes rely on previously cooked or store-bought ingredients, like pound cake or tortillas, to quickly piece together dishes.

And the best part — little to no cleanup. That’s a win anytime.
